Flight 64 presents: Multiple Maniacs! Benefit Event!
Help us raise enough money to improve our etching facilities and our shop ventilation!
Internship Duration: June 6th through August 26th
Intern Responsibilities:
-Attend Weekly Events Committee Meetings (Mondays at 7) and Monthly Member Meetings (every 2nd Thursday)
-Help Poster for Events
-Help to Create PR Materials (printing)
-Assist with Last Thursday Events (set-up, clean-up, street crew, booze watch) and any outside Flight 64 events/shows
-Other supportive tasks as needed to prepare for our fundraiser on August 25th
Qualifications:
-Experience with printmaking equipment and processes (as demonstrated in application)
-Reliable transportation to Flight 64 Studio (not necessarily a car!)
-Able to lift up to 40lbs
-Positive outlook and self-motivated!
Intern Benefits:
-Interns can work with Flight 64’s Executive Director for College Credit
-Interns are allowed access to Flight 64’s printmaking facilities and given storage space
-Upon successful completion of the 6-month internship, intern may choose to become a member with out a portfolio review
Interns will Gain Experience:
-Curating shows
-Creating and distributing PR
-Installation and break down of shows
-Member-run 501c3 non-profit business politics and policies
-Minor plumbing, construction and equipment maintenance
-Event planning
